After review of nearly 40 companies mainly specialized in aircraft disassembly and recycling around the world, 55% of them are located in America, 42% of them are located in western Europe, 3% of them are located in Middle East. Application and category of disassembled parts
1.Disassembled serviceable parts can be re-installed on aircraft after check or maintenance with airworthy tag released. The experience of aircraft disassembly and recycling is sophisticated.
2.Fuselage application. After recycle parts being removed, fuselage can be used for training, or emergency counterterrorism training of SWAT. Aircraft can be retrofitted to aviation hotel, aviation exploration gallery, aviation restaurant. We can also reserve the whole cockpit, which can be retrofitted to simulator with cutting edge technical method, used for pilot training or aviation enthusiasm experiencing.
3.Scrapped parts or material application. Aircraft seats, scrapped parts can be manufactured to furniture, aviation products and handicraft article. 4.Huge amount of aluminum alloy, other metal and other composite material, can be widely used in many industry or daily life.
China own 2814 aircrafts nowadays, and with 300 aircrafts increment every year. It is expected that the total number of new aircraft in China in the next 20 years will reach 5400, with 161 mainline aircrafts aged 15 to 20 years and 258 aircrafts aged more than 15 years, increasing to 574 in the next five years. So far, China's civil aviation has entered the update cycle of centralized aircraft retirement and disposal, and more than 80 aircraft will be retired every year, and the number of aircraft retirement will increase year by year in the future.
First, there will be a large number of parts in storage after the aircraft is disassembled, and there are many types of parts, such as various structural components, when the airline has an AOG requirement, which can be quickly supplied, which guarantee the normal operation.
Second, when there is a large parts storage center in China, domestic airlines can change the current way of relying on their own parts support, mitigate parts storage and save costs.
Third, the price of disassembled parts is significantly lower than the price of new products. At present, international airlines use a large number of used parts to save costs. Through the development of domestic aircraft disassembly, they can obtain the disassembled aircraft parts for reinstallation by domestic airlines, further saving the operating costs of domestic airlines and improving their international competitiveness.
The fourth is to introduce some halted production aircraft from abroad for disassembly, which can solve the shortage of parts supply of this type of aircraft that is operating in China (such as SF Boeing 757 aircraft).
Fifth, when the domestic aircraft disassembly business develops, the domestic bidding ability is enhanced, and the bargaining power appears. When the aircraft of an airline is retired, the residual value of its assets can be maximized.
Sixth, the storage of parts is a strategic reservation for civil-military integration, after the domestic large part storage center, the formation of a self-sufficient situation, subject to external constraints conditon will be eliminated.
Seventh, remanufacturing breaks technical barriers, and is also a technical reservation in the strategic reservation. At the same time remanufacturing can promote the improvement and development of China's manufacturing industry
The eighth is to standardize the aircraft disassembly industry, on the one hand, the old aircraft will be disassembled to prevent the old aircraft from occupying resources and polluting the environment; On the other hand, regulate the aircraft disassembly industry to prevent the environmental pollution caused by the aircraft disassembling behavior; At the same time, old aircraft resources will be used or reused.
However, in the short term, the domestic aircraft disassembly industry needs to actively participate in international market competition, share international market, and grow stronger gradually.
